Today I spent the majority of my day driving, but it was quite worth it. I was coming back from seeing one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the US, which also happens to be in Arizona (I’ll let you guess, and expect a post coming up :). I’ve also been speaking pretty much non-stop Spanish for the past two days, and Jonny and I have gotten to catch up with our super-awesome friend from Spain who we hadn’t seen in over a year, so no complaints here!
Please pardon the lack of originality of these pictures, I didn’t have time for more interesting things, but still wanted to show you an outfit I wore to work this week: my “The Oaxacan” top, which I know I said I’d try to wear in more original ways, and finally did here, but always resort back to high waisted skirts- but how about lets call it my signature look ok? ; ) This time though, I’ve got a new skirt in my collection, with an adorable bow to boot, from Shabby Apple (and a seriously amazing fit-a high-waisted skirt that doesn’t smash my hips for once!)!. The best part is I won it on a giveaway on Sappy Apple! (And of course I love the pop of color my woven bracelet ads, but you know I’m partial to them all : ).
Outfit details: coat- thrifted ($4); lace top- thrifted ($3); skirt- Shabby Apple, won via Sappy Apple; purse- thrifted Etinee Agner ($4), bracelet- handmade in Chiapas; bootie heels- Target sales last year; top- Handmade in Oaxaca.
If you celebrate Christmas, hope you’re getting excited to spend it with family and loved ones (and not stressing out about last-minute gifts to buy/wrap still, that’s really not the important part, remember… unless of course you wanted to check out my Holiday Special and shop for a cause : ). Enjoy this special time with the special people in your lives friends!
