A Little Family Christmas
By dusanabotswana On December 28th, 2012Here are a couple photos from our early Christmas celebration on Saturday. I didn’t get many and the majority turned out awful because I’ve never learned how to use my camera for indoor photos, but here are the few that turned out fine enough (a few I put two on Instagram actually because those filters are more helpful than my limited Photoshop skills). I’m glad I have a few at least and I’m even more glad that my family was so willing to pretend Christmas was a couple days earlier so that we could make the most out of our vacation days off work for our impromptu Belgium trip right now.

The celebrations weren’t anything elaborate and were very quick. We all enjoyed the barbecue we had last year (seen here), so Jonny made another one for everyone (as in my mother, father, and brother) while I threw in last minute things in the suitcase I’d started packing a half hour earlier and he threw all his stuff together right while while everyone put a little buffet line together. It would have been nicer to have had my everyone stay a little longer (we zoomed off to the airport at about 8pm that night), but I’m still glad we didn’t miss celebrating Christmas with family this year, especially since we missed Thanksgiving to go to Seattle (seen here and here). Jonny’s internship, and the flight benefits it has brought will be over soon and so shall the travels; can’t wait to show you all about our trip soon! I hope your Christmas (or other holiday if you celebrate something else!) was filled with love!
